Besides the subject matter it deals with, it also provides an indepth and quite detailed information about the spiritual guides related to this chain of dissemination and to the point details of all the Sajjada Nashins of this unique hospice of Awadh.
The most important part of the book is Lamar-ul-Anwar fi Bayan al-Awrad wa al-Azkar of Hazrat Shah Muhammad Mehdi “Ata Karimi Ashrafi Addhani, which is the first hand account of the religious devotions and practices of this branch of Sufism, the text as well as the English translation of which have been included in the present book.
