Description
Man is a social animal. He can neither live nor survive without social bonds. Individuals make a society. In other words a society is the artwork of different sorts of individuals. This dissimilitude and contrast, often, result in misunderstandings and conflicts. Rites and rituals, prevalent in the society, too, create confusions and complications. To solve these social problems is the bounden duty of Ulama (Islamic scholars). The significance of these social issues can be judged and ascertained by the fact that most of the Quranic do’s and don’ts pertain to the social issues, themselves, after those relating to faith and worship. Fuqaha (Islamic – jurists) also laid comparatively more emphasis on the social aspects.
