Tazkirah Mashahirkakor NasnamaS of Zaidis of Tarikh-i-kalpi and and Nasbnama Shaikhzadgan onami are rare Persian and Urdu sources and have been translated here to depict the local History of Kakori, Unnao and Kalpi and to study the lives and achievements of the local elites of these places, who played very conspicuous roles in the socio-political and cultural aspects of these places. A number of them were also the constituent of the existing political system under the Sultans and Mughals and the Successor States, which emerged due to the disintegration of these powerful political orders. Their subsequent roles under the British Colonial power and Independent India have its own dimensions and magnitude. All such aspects become unraveled before our eyes while studying these rare, authentic and unutilized sources and hence their importance is self evident.
