Empowerment is the buzzword today. The deprived sections are deliberating over the subject from different angles and at various levels. The Government, the NGOs and also the affected groups are discussing how to raise their educational, economic, social, cultural and political status. To some extent it is true about the Muslim community as well However, in their case the Government just pay lip service. Likewise the numbers of effective NGOs working for the welfare of Muslims are very few and can be counted on fingertips. And misery upon misery, the community has not been able to get a leadership that will take it out of the deep decline it has fallen in. However, there is a dim light at the end of the tunnel any of hope in that a few energetic Muslim intellectuals and young men have committed themselves to improving the Muslim situation. This book is an attempt to equip the Muslim youth with the vision and strategies that will help accelerate the Muslim empowerment. While depicting the actual Muslim situation, strict objectivity has been maintained. But when it came to suggesting the ways and means for empowering the Muslim youth in India the author has employed what may be called “inspirational subjectivity This indeed is needed to inspire and awaken the Muslim community from its deep slumber.
