Islam also happens to be the fastest growing religion in Europe, where an influx of Muslim immigrants from North Africa, Turkey, and South Asia is watched with interest. This volume, the 3rd of the series, “Encyclopedic Compendium of Muslim Communities in the World”, deals with the Central Asian region which consists of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, parts of Caucasia and Russia including Siberia as also the North-Western parts of China.
