The present study proceeds from a blending of the expertise in linguistics and Qur’anic Translations. the Qur’anic translation provided the subject matter of the present study whereas the linguistic models tried to demonstrate the linguistic realities of the Qur’anic translations by experimental studies. A continuous interaction between the two has brought about the present study. This work should be looked upon as an interdisciplinary study between Quran translation and linguistics. Nither of the two disciplines can afford to ignore each other because of the potentiality to provide beneficial insights with far-reaching consequences. Even otherwise, a linguistic study of the Qur’anic translation promises to be extremely fascinating. An average reader of Islamic Literature has a legitimate right to ask for an introductory treatise on the subject where the two disciplines join hands with each other.
